Revenue: Recognized when earned (e.g., when the job is finished).

Real-World Example: You finish a $4,000 reforestation project. Under the Accrual basis, you recognize that full $4,000 as revenue immediately because you earned it. When the client pays you $2,000 later, you are simply moving money from "Accounts Receivable" to your "Bank Account".
